South of Georgia, it simply means Florida. The band consist of TC Ridge (Vocals), Ricky Bobby (Drums), Christian Dulph (Guitar/Vocals), Dennis Arnold (Bass/Vocals), Marvin Ray Hawkins (Guitar's/vocals), additional musician's on fiddle, pedal steel, piano, and lap steel. The band has shared stages with platinum selling acts as well as the priveledge of playing the World Reknown Sturgis South Dakota bike ralley in the summer of 08' at the famous Broken Spoke Campground, Full Throttle, and The Knuckle Saloon.

South of Georgia has finished their sophmore recording, (release date TBA) at Studio 4 in Pennsylvania with Grammy winning Producer/Engineer, Phil Nicolo and Producer Dean Davidson. TC began the relationship with Phil Nicolo and Dean Davidson early in 2007 when TC was the executive producer for the new Michael Trac'e CD titled "Undone".

South of Georgia’s first independent release on Crane Records, was in September of 2005 with Terry Luttrell at the producer seat, Luttrell was the original singer for the world re-known band REO SPEEDWAGON and STARCASTLE. TC recruited Grammy nominated Banjoman Todd Taylor to play on four of the tracks, which later lead to TC becoming executive producer of Todd Taylor's 3 fiven cd that was nominated for a Grammy in 2006 in seven categories. The Debut CD is still available on the internet through CD BABY, and I Tunes. The bands first video shot for CMT and GAC titled “Down Home Country Boy” was directed by South of Georgia’s own TC Ridge. The band landed two tracks from the debut CD "Swamp Child and "Thick N Thin" in the Motion picture "The Hunt" Directed by Fritz Keirsch (Children of Corn) and produced by Academy award winner Gray Frederickson (Godfather's).

South of Georgia is about being real. The music is like reality TV, it’s raw, real, and in your face. The songs are believable and very easily adopted as your own, you can’t help but feel good when listening.

TC is proudly endorsed by Montecarlo Hat co. He became the national figure for the Bullhide style hat and can be seen wearing the South of Georgia trademark logo hat in the new 2008 catalog or at http:// www.montecarlohats.com. He will be stopping by stores that carry the hats across the nation doing in store signings and photos, during the extensive touring that South of Georgia has planned for their 09'/10' Redneck to Riches tour.

South of Georgia has had internet as well as commercial radio play around the world, that lead to them appearing in many newspapers, magazines, radio interviews, and a motion picture. TC also has his voice on an annoyance CD, where he did the voice over for the skit "Tommy". The CD will be released as a novelty item by Green Planet Records. The new South of Georgia bullhide style hat has been listed as the best seller in the new 08' catalog.
